SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coaltion
SELAH, which was cofounded by Nithya, offers showers, clothing, stimulus check assistance, to-go meals and masks to the unhoused residents of Silver lake, Atwater Village, Los Feliz, and East Hollywood.

My Friend's Place
Offering limited drop-in services during COVID, providing youth with meals, clothing, emergency supplies, medical care and assessment, as well as case management services, housing support, and employment support. Parenting Programs and Animal Companion Programs on hold due to Covid-19. MFP’s staff are collaborating with local partners to ensure youth experiencing homelessness are not forgotten in the face of this pandemic.

Support MFP’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, established to support the critical supplies that will keep their facility clean, ensure that they can continue to provide youth with meals and emergency supplies and cover expenses related to an emergency sick time fund created to support staff health and wellness.

LAUSD is providing free "Grab & Go" meals for anyone in need, not just students. They also have a hotline that's open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Culture + Arts
BarnsDall Junior Arts Center
The JAC offers extensive arts programs to children and youth, ages 3 – 17. Art instruction held at the Center throughout the year includes drawing, painting, theatre games, printmaking, photography, sculpture, cartooning, art of clay and more. Offering arts instruction on collaging, watercolor, photoshop, piano, crafts and theater via video series on Youtube while the physical space is closed.

Local Governance
Los Feliz Neighborhood Council
The Los Feliz Neighborhood council has launched LosFelizHelps.org to help keep Los Feliz residents safe, connected and informed during the "Safer at Home" emergency order. It offers an extensive directory of third-party resources, as well as a form to fill out if you need non-emergency help, like a check-in, grocery assistance, or anything else you are struggling with. The Los Feliz Neighborhood Council is committed to serving members of our community and representing their needs, attitudes and concerns as closely as possible to the best of their ability. Residents and community stakeholders help them by attending meetings and engaging with LFNC’s committees.
